Our kitchen team have cooked themselves up an outstanding reputation over the past year, not only among our own guests, but also among the many gourmets that make a point of stopping off for a meal. Refined local dishes, coupled with the lightness and aromas of Italian cuisine, are our interpretation of Mediterranean-style cooking. We use seasonal products from farmers in our area, and only fresh raw materials. Our herbs grow right behind the kitchen.

The Küglerhof lies above the village center at 700m above sea level, on 40,000 square meters of land in a uniquely panoramic setting near the Texel, or Gruppo di Tessa, Natural Park and far away from any highly travelled roadways.
The hotel lies in an utterly peaceful area, surrounded by natural meadows. The view from the here is one of the most impressive in the entire region, since it looks over the entire Adige, or Etsch, Valley and the neighboring valleys, villages, the city of Merano and the surrounding peaks. Countless walking paths start directly from the hotel and the cable car to the Muthöfe alms is only a ten-minute walk away. The local bus will take you to the village any time during the day, or even further, to Merano.

With only 35 rooms and suites, it has remained easily managed and almost private. A far cry from typical alpine hotel architecture, the house was designed and built-in lodge style.
